    Lead Pastor

Heather and I have been married for over 21 years. When we were dating in high school, she is actually the one who led me to give my life to Jesus. We are blessed with two kids, Maddy is 18 and Eli is 16. We both grew up around the Eureka area, and I graduated from Eureka College with a degree in Elementary Education. After graduation, I went to work at State Farm in Bloomington. In early 2001, God called Heather and I to start Crosspoint. Then in July 2007, after being at State Farm for nearly 10 years, I left to be the Community Life/Teaching Pastor at Crosspoint. I graduated with a Masters in Ministry Leadership from Rockbridge Seminary in the fall of 2008. Then in the spring of 2009, I moved into the role of Lead Pastor. In my spare time, I love playing, coaching, and watching basketball, working around the house, and hanging out with my family and friends.

    Worship and Disciplemaking Pastor

I love Jesus, my wife (Bree), our daughter Josie, our sons Charlie, Harvey, and Lyle, and making disciples who make disciples. Bree and I were married in May of 2003. Around that same time, we committed to joining the Crosspoint church plant, and I served as the volunteer worship music leader on Sunday mornings. In September of 2009, I joined the staff as the Worship and Student pastor, and in June of 2016, I transitioned into the role of Worship and Disciplemaking pastor. I am passionate about helping people of all ages live a Mark 12:30-31 and Matthew 28:18-20 disciplemaking way of life, about encouraging and equipping parents to fulfill Deuteronomy 6:4-9 in their home, and about helping others worship God in Spirit and in truth. I also like to camp, hunt, fish, geocache, blow up fireworks, put fires out (those two are unrelated), play guitar, and read. My newest love/hobby/borderline obsession (pray for me) is the pursuit of a fantastic cup of coffee.

    Student Pastor

Sarah and I met at Crosspoint in July 2012 shortly after I began following Jesus. God has used this church body to challenge and shape us in the faith ever since. We have been joyfully married since August 2014, and have an amazing son named Leon. After serving incarcerated teens with Youth for Christ in Peoria, we were eager to answer the call of God; moving into the role as Student Pastor in June 2016.

I love mi familia, making disciplemakers, and working with teams of people helping them discover and thrive in their gifts. Some other things I enjoy are coffee, exercise, game nights (both video & board), Chicago & Charlotte sports, delicious food, traveling with Sarah, reading, and anything that provides me with a healthy dose of adrenaline.

    Children's Ministry Director

My husband (Micah) & I were born and raised in central Illinois and are blessed to be the parents of 4 amazing kids. Together, we enjoy camping, cheering at our kids' events, and sipping on a great cup of coffee. I also love working behind the scenes throughout the week so that everything's in place and ready for a tremendous team of children's ministry volunteers on Sundays.
