    Lead Pastor

Heather and I have been married for over 22 years. When we were dating in high school, she is actually the one who led me to give my life to Jesus. We are blessed with two kids, Maddy is 20 and Eli is 18. We both grew up around the Eureka area, and I graduated from Eureka College with a degree in Elementary Education. After graduation, I went to work at State Farm in Bloomington. In early 2001, God called Heather and I to start Crosspoint. Then in July 2007, after being at State Farm for nearly 10 years, I left to be the Community Life/Teaching Pastor at Crosspoint. I graduated with a Masters in Ministry Leadership from Rockbridge Seminary in the fall of 2008. Then in the spring of 2009, I moved into the role of Lead Pastor. In my spare time, I love playing, coaching, and watching basketball, working around the house, and hanging out with my family and friends.

    Church Planting Pastor

I love Jesus, my wife (Bree), our daughter Josie, our sons Charlie, Harvey, and Lyle, and making disciples who make disciples. Bree and I were married in May of 2003. Around that same time, we committed to joining the Crosspoint church plant, and I served as the volunteer worship music leader on Sunday mornings. In November of 2009, I joined the staff as the Worship and Student pastor, and in June of 2016, I transitioned into the role of Worship and Disciplemaking pastor.  In early 2018, the Lord began to call me and my family to plant a church in Minonk, IL (Fieldcrest School District).  Lord willing, and in partnership with Crosspoint, Christ Community (Gridley), and Community Bible Fellowship (El Paso), we hope to hold our first Sunday service in Minonk in October of 2019.  Learn more about the Minonk Initiative here.

    Student Pastor

Sarah and I met at Crosspoint in July 2012 shortly after I began following Jesus. God has used this church body to challenge and shape us in the faith ever since. We have been married since August 2014, and have two sons (Leon & Ezra). After serving incarcerated teens with Youth for Christ in Peoria, we were eager to answer the call of God as I moved into the role of Student Pastor in June 2016. Currently, I'm working my way through the undergrad program at Spurgeon College for a degree in Biblical Studies. In my spare time I enjoy being with people, roasting coffee, watching sports, reading, and occasionally doing kickflips on my skateboard.

    Children's Ministry Director

My husband (Micah) & I were born and raised in central Illinois and are blessed to be the parents of 4 amazing kids. Together, we enjoy camping, cheering at our kids' events, and sipping on a great cup of coffee. I also love working behind the scenes throughout the week so that everything's in place and ready for a tremendous team of children's ministry volunteers on Sundays.
